The
office of the Training and Placement Officer is housed in the Mechanical
Department building. The adjoining seminar halls are used for conducting
written tests, group discussions and other activities related to
training and placement. All the diploma courses, post diploma and
postgraduate diploma courses have in-plant training as an integral
part of he course. Besides, degree students of Production Engineering,
Textile Manufacture and the MCA courses also undergo in-plant training.
In many cases, the students are selected and offered jobs even before
they appear for the final year examinations. The close rapport developed
by the institute with various industries has helped the student
community in securing gainful employment. More than a hundred organizations
visit the Institute every year for campus interviewing and selection.

Most of the industries are really happy with
our students' performance in terms of personality,
communication, general awareness, technical capabilities
etc. Almost all eligible students receive their
job offer one year in advance. The salary offered
by various organizations ranges from Rs.1,20,000/-
to Rs.4,80,000 per annum. Various manufacturing,
